Messy Church

Messy Church is for absolutely anyone and everyone. We meet every couple of months on a Sunday afternoon. We usually have around 50 – 60 people each time and it’s a very relaxed and welcoming environment. Messy Church is a fantastic opportunity to get to know more people, spend time with friends and family and support each other. One of our main aims is to learn more about God’s purpose for our lives and about how much he loves each one of us.
A “typical” Messy Church might look a bit like this:
Opening activity for everyone to join as people arrive.
A short, informal service with 2 or 3 lively songs, a story or message and a prayer.
Crafts and challenges, these usually relate to the story we’ve heard.
A meal – we all sit down together, usually towards the end to share tea – usually sandwiches, crisps, fruit, cakes etc.
We use the term “typical” very lightly as Messy Church does tend to change a bit each time but the same elements are always there – CREATIVITY, WORSHIP and HOSPITALITY.
We would love you to come along and be part of our Messy family. Messy Church will be on:
Sunday 27th May, 3 – 5pm
Sunday 30th September, 3 – 5pm
Sunday 25th November, 3 – 5pm
